Description
Anubias Barteri (New) is a popular and hardy aquatic plant valued for its resilience and visual appeal. Native to West Africa, this variety features broader, heart-shaped leaves that are about twice the size of those of the Old Type Anubias Barteri, with less pointed tips. It can grow up to 20 cm (8 inches) in height and thrives in a range of water conditions, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists.
This versatile plant can be grown fully submerged or partially emersed, and it easily attaches to rocks, driftwood, or other surfaces in the aquarium. It prefers a temperature range of 22°C to 28°C (72°F to 82°F) and a pH range of 5.5 to 9.0. With its slow growth rate, Anubias Barteri (New) requires minimal maintenance while enhancing water quality by absorbing nutrients. Additionally, it provides essential shelter and hiding spots for fish, promoting a healthy and balanced aquatic environment.
